Yakima Hops starter Darryl Bailey was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Billings Polar Bears, 2-1. The winning pitcher was Bailey, now 7-3. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. The first-place Hops have a one-game lead in their division.
