Lancaster got a terrific performance from pitcher Jerry Sargent, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ithaca Fighting Imps. Ithaca won the Farmers Field contest, 2-1. Sargent threw 7.0 innings of 1-hit ball for the losing team. Lancaster has now lost 4 in a row.
Luis Ávila made it 2-1 in favor of Ithaca when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the 14th. The Fighting Imps went on to win.
