Ithaca starter Francisco Esposo pitched well against the Barton Springs Blues at Imps Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-1. The triumph puts Ithaca at 31-29 for the season.
Mies Lumme contributed to the Ithaca win. The 24-year old first baseman stroked a double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Lumme was 1-4 with a double.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Ithaca manager Gary Thomas. "It's usually not just one thing."
