Lancaster picked up a win at Farmers Field, bumping off the Barton Springs Blues, 5-3. Pitcher Jerry Sargent was a major reason the Farmers emerged victorious. At 24-30, the Farmers find themselves in 10th place in the Menard's AA.

The Farmers got a big hit from second baseman Michael Hudson. In the bottom of the fifth, Hudson pounded a 2-run double to right. His 9th double of the season put the Farmers ahead, 3-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Sargent said after the game.
