Big Day by Castro Ignites Love Boats Win
A good performance from right fielder Augusto Castro helped the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats defeat the Irving Blue Sox, 8-5. Castro was 3-4 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Love Boats. Manuel Martínez picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-0. He struck out 1 in 5.1 innings. Hugh Mann earned the save for Lake Minnetonka, his 1st of the year.

In the top of the second, with the game still scoreless, Castro hit a run-scoring double to put his team in the lead.

"It was a solid team effort," said Castro after the game.

The win puts the Love Boats at 27-21, while the Blue Sox drop to 29-19.
