Lake Minnetonka rode a good effort from starter Nelson McNeil to beat the Billings Polar Bears at Heron Field. The final score was 4-2. Jayson McMasters recorded his 5th save for Lake Minnetonka. Lake Minnetonka now sits in 5th place in the Menard's AA at 24-19.

Mike Shiplack hit a 2-run triple off Ramelan Mollema in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Love Boats in front, 3-1. Shiplack had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Shiplack told the Lake Minnetonka Gazette.
