Krewe Shut Out Ghosts, 4-0
|
Right-hander Blaise Tonetti mesmerized the Casper Ghosts while leading the Crescent City Krewe to a 4-0 victory. The Krewe are now 18-12, while the Ghosts fall to 14-16.
Crescent City used a well-timed hit by Leonard Tucker to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Krewe ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.
"We did a lot of things right," said Tucker.
