Valdéz Delivers Walk-Off Win for Blues
Barton Springs picked up a win at Blues Field, bumping off the Ottawa Nationals, 5-4. Pitcher Urs Bilderbeek was a major reason the Blues emerged victorious. The win belongs to Robinson Martínez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Miguel Angel Craig took the loss for Ottawa. The 9th-place Blues raised their record to 13-16.

Leonardo Valdéz was the walk-off hero for Barton Springs. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blues second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Valdéz told a Barton Springs Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
