Fighting Imps Rally For Late Win Over Love Boats
Imps Park was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Ithaca Fighting Imps had to overcome a good performance from Lake Minnetonka pitcher Manuel Martínez to claim a 2-1 win at Imps Park. Martínez went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Ithaca pitcher Edgardo Costello got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jasper Smulders got the loss.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Ithaca trailing 1-0, Pedro Costa hit a fastball from Jasper Smulders for a 2-run home run, giving the Fighting Imps the walk-off win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Costa said after the game.

Ithaca has now won 4 in a row.
