Highlanders Roll to 8-1 Win Over Ghosts
|
The performance of Mike Minor proved critical in helping Asheville beat Casper, 8-1. The Highlanders right fielder was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Ramón Vázquez picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 2-1. With the win over Casper, the Highlanders improved to 13-9.
