Highlanders Get Past Ithaca for 4-3 Win
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Héctor Ancelno, the Asheville Highlanders defeated the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 4-3. Ancelno was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Highlanders. The Fighting Imps drop to 6-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2046 season.

Asheville used the clutch hitting of Reynaldo García to capture the win. The catcher drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Highlanders ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Héctor is still learning," said Highlanders manager Jonah Moody. "The sky's the limit for him."
