Flamingos Stumble, Lose to Northern Lions BC
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC used an offensive barrage to beat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 10-2, at Great Northern Field. Enrique Martínez led the way, going 2-for-3 for Thunder Bay. The winner was Josuke Okumura, who threw 100 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 4 hits. Armando Trujillo converted his 13th save in 15 tries.

Thunder Bay took a 5-1 lead on Takeshi Kovacs's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Las Vegas pitcher Thomas Hancock in the bottom of the seventh.
