White Walkers Lose Again, 3-1, to Northern Lions BC
|
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC racked up a win at Beyond the Wall, bumping off the Buffalo White Walkers, 3-1. Josuke Okumura, who started for Thunder Bay, pitched effectively for his team. In 7.2 innings, Okumura surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Armando Trujillo got the save, his 10th in 11 chances.
Keaton Kringlen, the 29-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Kringlen contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Thunder Bay up, 1-0.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Okumura said.
Buffalo has now lost 6 straight.
