Pandas Fall Short, 3-2, at Thunder Bay

Thunder Bay and Montana duked it out and the Northern Lions BC came out victorious.
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC did just enough to sneak past the Montana Pandas, 3-2, at Great Northern Field. Thunder Bay pitcher Jorge Souza, in particular, had a standout performance. Souza picked up the win for Thunder Bay, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 7-2.
Also having an impact was shortstop Barton Ryan, who stroked a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fifth for Thunder Bay. For the game, Ryan was 2-4 with a triple, while scoring 2 runs.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Souza said.
After today's action, Thunder Bay sits at 26-34; Montana slips to 32-28.
