The Kingston Township Knights powered past the Montana Pandas, 8-4, at Cloverdale Legion Park. Steve Miller was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. Kingston Township reliever Pei Fa picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Edward Swetnam was tagged with the loss. The Knights sport a record of 14-23.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter DeMarvion Overshown came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Montana pitcher Edward Swetnam, he hit a 2-2 splitter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Kingston Township on top, 5-4.

In postgame comments to the Kingston Township Daily, Miller said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
