Hops Walk It Off for 5th Win of Season
Ithaca shortstop Boboy Enabore had a good game, even if his team did not. The Fighting Imps dropped a 7-6 decision to Yakima at Hops Park. Enabore went 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs. Yakima pitcher Lee Weaver got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Xin-fang Zha got the loss. The win gives Yakima a record of 5-3.

Yakima won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Xin-fang Zha on the mound for Ithaca, right fielder Shane Holman hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Hops fans to their feet.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Yakima field general Gerald Clark.
