Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Port Huron Blitzkrieg and Port Royal Disaster.

Port Huron pitcher Hakumele Apelama did his part in helping his team beat the Port Royal Disaster, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Victor Brown closed it out for his 14th save.

Ruhinda Kirkconnell, the 28-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Kirkconnell contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Port Huron up, 2-0.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Port Huron manager Harrison Blackford.

The victory makes Port Huron 23-68.
