The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds defeated the Calgary Lynx, 12-2, at Lynx Stadium. Ellenburg left fielder Wyatt Quick had a superb performance. He went 2-5 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The winning pitcher was Eric Manchester. His record is now 6-5. The right-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits for the Fighting Dachsunds.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bill Knight? The Ellenburg right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Fighting Dachsunds on top, 5-0. For the game, Knight had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
