Late Rally by Fighting Dachsunds Secures 4-1 Win

Another game, another loss for the struggling Port Huron Blitzkrieg.
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds stymied the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 4-1, at Port Huron Park. Maik Zuydam had a good day at the plate. He was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles for Ellenburg. Rob Bates closed it out for his 6th save.
Ellenburg used the clutch hitting of Tsu-wee Tsou to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Fighting Dachsunds ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"We're in a funk right now," said Port Huron skipper Harrison Blackford.
The Blitzkrieg, at 22-67, have lost 10 straight games.
