Harper Helps Redlegs Win, 7-3, with Pair of Homers
Spirited fans greeted the Kansas Rainbeaus for their clash with the Sacramento Redlegs.

Sacramento right fielder John Harper was a significant contributor in his team's 7-3 triumph over the Kansas Rainbeaus. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Sacramento. The winning pitcher was Ed Emery. His record is now 12-3. The left-hander went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits for the Redlegs.
