Kansas third baseman Rickard Busald helped his team beat the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 5-2. Busald went 3 for 4 for the Rainbeaus. Ben Hankins locked down his 8th save. Kansas is now 45-36, while Port Huron is 22-59.

With Kansas leading 3-2 in the top of the sixth, Koi-sho Xú hit a 2-run single off Port Huron pitcher José Santos. It put the Rainbeaus ahead 5-2.
