In a well-pitched game between the Sacramento Redlegs and the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, pitcher Gian-Carlo Maneilli was fantastic. The Sacramento right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Sacramento reliever Eugenio Piñeiro picked up the win, raising his record to 4-0. Eric Manchester was tagged with the loss. Arsen Campbell recorded the save, his 23rd.

Sacramento took a 2-1 lead on José Altagracia's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Altagracia hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ellenburg pitcher Eric Manchester shaking his head.

Altagracia attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."

The Redlegs have an impressive 46-29 record.
