ParksNRec Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
|
In a tight game between the Pawnee ParksNRec and the Port Royal Disaster, pitcher Manuel Ruíz was terrific on the mound. The Pawnee right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Tim Strong came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. The 5th-place ParksNRec have won 5 straight games.
The ParksNRec procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Ren-qing Qin. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"This game tested our mettle," said Qin.
