Francis Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pajaritos
Starting pitcher Elroy Quaid had a solid game. He was a big reason the Norfolk Pajaritos throttled the Sacramento Redlegs, 3-2. Norfolk reliever Da'wan Gaines was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Eric Mason took the loss. Norfolk is now riding a 3-game win streak.

In the bottom of the ninth, Ken Francis had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to right off Sacramento pitcher Eric Mason.

Sacramento manager John Brown said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
