The Norfolk Pajaritos stopped the Port Royal Disaster, 11-5, at Ballpark of Port Royal. The Pajaritos got a big game from Ken Francis, who was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The losing skid has reached 9 games for Port Royal.
It could have been a different outcome for Norfolk, had it not been for Barsati Saraf, the 30-year old left fielder . Saraf contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Norfolk up, 2-0.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Pajaritos manager José Rodríguez, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
