Sigurdson Delivers Walk-Off Win for Drummers
Drummers Ballpark was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Tortolita Drummers did just enough to sneak past the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 5-4, at Drummers Ballpark. Tortolita pitcher Zhao-hui Li, in particular, had a standout performance. The Blitzkrieg, at 13-36, have lost 5 straight games.

Leland Sigurdson was the walk-off hero for Tortolita. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Drummers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Li told a Tortolita Today reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
