Win Makes Squirrel Monkeys 29-19
|
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys picked up a win at The Zoo in Syracuse, taking down the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-1. Starting pitcher Matt Dunn was a big reason why. The winning pitcher was Dunn, now 3-0. He tossed 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. The victory gives Syracuse a record of 29-19.
Making an impact for the home team was Robby Sinor. In the bottom of the sixth, the 28-year old left fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Squirrel Monkeys.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Dunn.
