Redlegs Squelch Drummers Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Sacramento Redlegs racked up a win at Sacramento Sanitation Station, bumping off the Tortolita Drummers, 3-0. Elisheba Petershwim, who started for Sacramento, pitched effectively for his team. Petershwim got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. Petershwim allowed no runs. Arsen Campbell got credit for the save for Sacramento. It was his 11th of the year.
Sacramento grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, José Altagracia delivered a run-scoring double, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Redlegs.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Altagracia.
