Syracuse rode a decent outing from starter Luis Sastre to victory over the Port Huron Blitzkrieg. The final score was 5-4. The first-place Squirrel Monkeys have won 6 straight.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 11th, an error by the Blitzkrieg allowed the Squirrel Monkeys to score the winning run.
