5-2 Loss to Squirrel Monkeys Extends Port Royal Losing Streak
Behind an impressive start by José Guerrero, Syracuse beat Port Royal, 5-2. Harold Hunter closed it out for his 3rd save. With the victory, the Squirrel Monkeys upped their record to 20-13.

Syracuse used a clutch hit from Buddy Patton to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Squirrel Monkeys ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"It's a mindset," said Guerrero. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
