The Port Huron Blitzkrieg topped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 6-4, in USSL Triple A action at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The game was highlighted by the performance of Port Huron shortstop Gary Bly. Laurent Schweitzer picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 2-2. Victor Brown, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

Port Huron used a well-timed hit by Nathan Bram to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bly.

The Blitzkrieg sport a record of 6-15.
