Ballpark of Port Royal was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Calgary Lynx and Port Royal Disaster.
Calgary picked up a win at Ballpark of Port Royal, bumping off the Port Royal Disaster, 5-4. Pitcher Hong-bin Hua was a major reason the Lynx emerged victorious. Earning his 5th save for Calgary was Maxwell Security.
The Lynx got a big hit from center fielder Cameron Woolever. In the top of the seventh, Woolever pounded a run-scoring triple to right-center. His 1st triple of the season put the Lynx ahead, 5-1.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Calgary manager Rafael Clemente.
Calgary, now 12-7, has gotten their season off to a good start.
