Redlegs Stick Blitzkrieg with 4-1 Loss
|
The Sacramento Redlegs went home winners at Port Huron Park, thanks in large part to starter Ki-seop Ch'oe. Ch'oe stifled the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, enabling Sacramento to grab the 4-1 win. The Redlegs raised their record to 8-4.
With runs few and far between, the Redlegs had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Sacramento came in the top of the third inning, when third baseman José Costa delivered a 2-run single. The single was hit off Laurent Schweitzer and made the score 2-0, Redlegs. Costa was 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Ch'oe.
