Rainbeaus Win at Port Huron, 15-6
The Kansas Rainbeaus trumped the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 15-6, at Port Huron Park. Kansas second baseman Rickard Busald was terrific. He went 1-3 with a triple, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Qu-bing Li was the winning pitcher. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. The win gives the Rainbeaus a record of 5-3.

The Rainbeaus got an important contribution from center fielder Terumoto Nakanishi, who in the top of the second hit a first pitch fastball into left for a bases-clearing double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Rainbeaus ahead, 4-0.

"I like our moxie," said Rainbeaus manager Rafael Herrera.
