Lau Goes Deep Twice in 6-2 Rainbeaus Win
The Kansas Rainbeaus topped the Tortolita Drummers by the score of 6-2, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Ai-de Lau. Lau hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Rainbeaus. Qu-bing Li picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 7 in 6.1 innings. Getting the save was Carl Harris, his 1st.

Kansas took control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Charles Stevenson hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Rainbeaus.

"I thought we played a nice game," Lau told the Kansas Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The Rainbeaus, now 3-0, have hit the ground running this season.
