The Kansas Rainbeaus did just enough to secure a victory over the Tortolita Drummers, 5-4, at Drummers Ballpark. Nobody did more than second baseman Terumoto Nakanishi. The loss makes Tortolita 0-2.

Kansas used a well-timed hit by Fraser Childs to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Rainbeaus ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Nakanishi told reporters after the game.
