The 2046 season began for the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds with a loss to the Port Huron Blitzkrieg at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The final score was 6-3. Port Huron catcher Tomislav Jovovich had a fine performance. Andrew Johnson got the win, improving to 1-0. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 0 and walking 3.
