The home crowd had a good time watching the Baton Rouge Brass and Forest City Warriors get after it.

Forest City starter Billy Ramsey put a stranglehold on the Baton Rouge offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Warriors to a 5-1 win. The 7th-place Warriors improved to 49-53.

Ramsey, who dominated for Forest City, earned the victory to move to 7-7. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 7. Baton Rouge batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Ramsey.
