Nolensville and Vermont duked it out and the Knights came out victorious.

Nolensville starter Tim Wallace put a stranglehold on the Vermont offense. The left-hander had complete command of his slider in leading the Knights to a 4-1 win. The Knights bumped their record to 46-45 with this latest triumph.

Wallace, who is tied for 3rd in the 3AAA with a 1 complete games, pitched a complete game for Nolensville. Wallace surrendered 1 hit over 9 innings and struck out 4. With the win, he moves to 7-3 on the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Wallace said.
