The Syracuse Starks did just enough to secure a victory over the Nolensville Knights, 5-4, at Stark Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher David O'Farrell. Jorge Torres notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. His record now sits at 5-4. The 11th-place Starks raised their record to 38-50.

Chiel Vreke was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Starks third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
