Victory Over Brass Takes Milton to 57-30
|
The 4-3 Milton win over Baton Rouge was due largely to Aurelius Estrada. The Dogfish Head catcher went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Milton is now 57-30, 3 games up in the Menard's AAA.
Estrada contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Milton in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 1-0, Estrada took a curveball from Deron Lewis and stroked the home run to right. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Dogfish Head to leap in front, 4-1.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Baton Rouge manager Jarred Smith said following the tough loss.
