Red Pandas Take Down Dogfish Head, 3-2
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas eked out a 3-2 win versus the Milton Dogfish Head at Milton Corner Tavern. Nobody did more than pitcher Luis Bongers. He was terrific. The 4th-place Red Pandas now have a win-loss record of 39-39.

The outcome might have been different for Sioux Falls, had it not been for Louwe Heesemans, the 22-year old third baseman . Heesemans stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 14th inning to put Sioux Falls up, 3-2. For the game, he was 3 for 7, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Milton manager Alexander Allen. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
