MacKichan Delivers Walk-Off Win for Lake Monsters
The Vermont Lake Monsters had to overcome a fine effort from Syracuse pitcher Jorge Santos to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Monster Field. Santos went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Lake Monsters, at 37-40, sit in 7th place in the Menard's AAA.

Vermont won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and John Lee on the mound for Syracuse, designated hitter Eric MacKichan hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Lake Monsters fans to their feet.

MacKichan told a Vermont Citizen reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
