Minnesota Wins, Pagueros has 4 hits tonight
|
The performance of Víctor Pagueros proved critical in helping Minnesota beat Chesapeake, 5-3. The Loons third baseman went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The loss drops the Cangrejos Fantasmas to 5-2.
Pagueros had a timely hit for Minnesota in the top of the ninth. With Chesapeake trailing 3-2, he turned a full count fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-3, Minnesota.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pagueros told the Minnesota News.
