Guinea Pigs Get 6-3 Win Versus Toledo
The home crowd had a good time watching the Toledo Saboteurs and Gwinnett Guinea Pigs get after it.

The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs defeated the Toledo Saboteurs, 6-3, in USSL Double A action at Experimental Stadium. Gwinnett pitcher Mike Wilson had a standout performance. Wilson, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 1, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs.

The Guinea Pigs got a big boost from second baseman Chong-chun Yi who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning off Saboteurs hurler Dennis Henry. It was his 1st RBI of the season and put Gwinnett on top, 4-3.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Wilson said.

Gwinnett, now 5-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
