The performance of Patrick Gibbard proved critical in helping Alaskan beat Monongahela, 4-3. The Humpbacks third baseman belted 2 home runs. Alaskan reliever Jorge Pagán got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Gustaf Steur was tagged with the loss. Dave Williams earned his 1st save in 1 chances.

Alaskan took a 3-1 lead on Gibbard's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Gustaf Steur in the top of the sixth, propelled Alaskan to the win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Monongahela manager José González. "The effort was great."

The Humpbacks raised their record to 41-49.
