Pride Top Pennsauken, 7-6
|
Hartford picked up a win at Pride Park, bumping off the Pennsauken Flyers, 7-6. Pitcher Ernesto García was a major reason the Pride emerged victorious. Hartford reliever Jack Salt picked up the win, raising his record to 3-4. Raúl Villegas was tagged with the loss. The win puts Hartford at 31-52.
Juan Amengual was the walk-off hero for Hartford. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pride third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This wasn't a good win," said Amengual. "It was a great win."
