Nagata Goes Off, But Reserves Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Salt Lake City Buzz and Athletic Club KC Reserves get after it.

Nobukazu Nagata had a good game, but he could not keep the Salt Lake City Buzz from falling, 9-8, to the Athletic Club KC Reserves at KC Reserve Stadium. The Salt Lake City second baseman was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice in the loss. Willie Woodward was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, with 5 walks and 4 strikeouts. José Núñez closed it out for his 1st save.
