Dodos Stay Hot With 9-0 Win
|
Hialeah Dodos starter Cooper Carroll was in fine form against the Pennsauken Flyers at Pennsauken Park, leading his team to a win, 9-0. The winning pitcher was Carroll, now 4-1. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. The second-place Dodos have won 7 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Hialeah, had it not been for Juan Oleastro, the 28-year old right fielder . Oleastro contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Hialeah up, 2-0.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Hialeah manager Zach King.
