Oleastro Helps Hialeah Cruise to 10-3 Win
|
Juan Oleastro led Hialeah to a triumph over Pennsauken. The final score was 10-3. The right fielder went 4 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 3 runs and added 1 RBI. Clyde Sparks picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 3-0. The third-place Dodos have won 6 consecutive games.
It could have been a different outcome for Hialeah, had it not been for Eddie Neef, the 31-year old first baseman . Neef contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Hialeah up, 4-0.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Oleastro told the Hialeah Citizen.
